Society 2027 Calendar: More Pages from the Second Scrapbook

The Anthony Powell Society 2027 Calendar is illustrated by further pages from Powell's Second Scrapbook, starting with an article from Country Life magazine about the Chantry, the Powells' house near Nunney, in Somerset. Other pages reflect AP's keen interest in his family background, and the activities of old friends. He also returns to the more playful and surreal approach that characterised the Dream Memories scrapbook – combining printed ephemera and reproductions of paintings with images from films and theatre.

The format is a convenient size – 21x 21 cm folded and 21 x 42 cm when opened and hung by use of the punched hole. There is a page for each month, and the dates of a selection of significant anniversaries have been added.
