The ability to mail Society merchandise to the USA has been reinstated.
Although the situation is not entirely clear the UK Post Office/Royal Mail will be collecting the required tariffs (plus a small admin fee). What is not totally clear is the size of the tariffs being collected.
Consequently, in order to restore service to our USA members and supporters, we have decided to ask that for any shipments to a USA address a "donation" of £1.50 per item is added to the order during the checkout process.
This is not ideal, and we apologise to USA purchasers. However, in this way, we hope to be able to recover most (but probably not all) of the additional tariffs and fees.
The situation will be kept under review, and the process and/or additional rates will be adjusted as and when necessary.
