The Society's 2026 Calendar is now available.
Images from Powell's Second Scrapbook, started after WW2, have been chosen to illustrate the Society's 2026 Calendar. In contrast to the Dream Memories album featured in 2025, the 2026 calendar contains many contemporary photographs, including some taken when Powell was in France carrying out his duties as a liaison officer with allied forces. They will bring to mind the description in The Military Philosophers of the trip made by Nicholas Jenkins, accompanying a party of military attachés on a tour of Normandy and Belgium, during which he has a memorable encounter with Field-Marshall Montgomery.
The calendar is available from the online shop, price £8 for members and £11 for non-members (plus p&p).
